Catholic Rosary Ring

The practice of using rosary rings goes back hundreds of years, but the origin and date of this ring is unknown. The idea of these rings is that the rosary prayers can be counted on these easy to carry "rings". There are markings on the back side of the ring but their meaning is unknown. One looks likes "U.85" and the other looks like "53"
